About The Friends Media Project

The Friends Media Project primarily serves the Religious Society of Friends. The Friends Media Project seeks to support people pursuing or interested in a Quaker ministry through mass media, Quaker outreach and/or preserving Quaker heritage in new media forms - while doing the same kind of work.

This website and the Friends Media Project is the work of Dana Kester-McCabe, a lifelong member of the Religious Society of Friends. She has served as clerk and recording clerk of her home meeting - Wicomico River Friends Meeting in Salisbury, Maryland. She has also served as the Regional Coordinator for Quakers on Delmarva in the Southern Quarter of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, as an alternate clerk of that Yearly Meeting, and on a variety of Quaker committees, and boards.

Dana has over 35 years of creative experience, having worked in internet, video, and print design, as well as writing materials for children's religious education, juvenile fiction, nonprofit public relations, advertising, and a local television news website. She runs a freelance graphic design service, Moonshell Productions, creating custom websites and other graphics for small nonprofits and local businesses. Contact her at:
