Henry Joel Cadbury
(December 1, 1883 – October 9, 1974)
was a biblical scholar, Quaker historian, and writer. He was a college proffesor in the field of Divinity. He served twice as chairman of the American Friends Service Committee and delivered the Nobel lecture on behalf of the American Friends Service Committee and British Friends Service Council when they accepted the Nobel Peace Prize in 1947.
