Lewes Worship Group General Information & Directions

Starting in the Fall of 2006, a new worship group under the care of Camden Meeting began meeting in Lewes, Delaware. Now the group meets on Wednesday evenings at the Lewes Historical Society and on Sundays at Cadbury at Lewes. Cadbury is a Quaker guided continuing care retirement community in Lewes. Please join us. All are welcome.

Regular Meeting Times:
    Wednesdays from 7pm - 8pm
       At the historic Midway Schoolhouse in Lewes, Delaware.
    Sundays at 10:00am
       At Cadbury at Lewes a Quaker guided Continuing Care Retirement Community

Directions To Cadbury At Lewes:
From Wilmington, DE:

• Take I-95 South to DE-1 south via exit 4A towards Christiana/Mall Road.


• Make a left onto Dartmouth Drive/US-9.


• Turn left onto Kings Highway.


• Turn right onto Gill's Neck Road.


• Cadbury is located 1/2 mile down on your left.


From Washington, DC:

• Take 50 east and cross the Bay Bridge.


• Follow signs to Rehoboth and bear right onto 404 east.


• Stay straight to go onto Seashore Highway/DE-404.


• Turn left onto Market Street/DE-404.


• Turn right onto South Main Street/US-13/DE-404.


• Turn slight left onto Seashore Highway/DE-404. Continue to follow DE-404.


• Enter next roundabout and take 3rd exit onto US-9 E/DE-404 E. Stay straight to go onto Coastal Highway South/US-9 E/DE-1 S.


• Make a left onto Dartmouth Dr/US-9.


• Turn left onto Kings Highway.


• Turn right onto Gill's Neck Road. Cadbury is located 1/2 mile down on your left.


From Ocean City, MD:

• Take DE-1 north.


• Make a right onto Kings Highway.


• Turn right on Gill's Neck Road. Cadbury is located 1/2 mile down on your left.


Directions To Midway Schoolhouse:
(Lewes Historical Society)

• Take Route 1 to Savannah Road (that is the intersection called "Five Points" where the Lowe's store is... it is also where Route 9 from Georgetown meets Route 1 (Coastal Highway)


• Continue on Savannah Road past Beebe Hospital on your left.


• Two blocks past Beebe Hospital, turn left on Second Street (this is the main business street in Lewes; the Buttery Restaurant is on the corner.)


• Continue on Second Street til it ends at Shipcarpenter Street.


• In front of you will be the entrance to the Lewes Historical Society.


• Park anywhere on the street in this vicinity.


• Walk up the driveway of the LHS to its end and look to your left. The only lighted building will be our "meetinghouse."
